Your local Council is a wealth of information. Use it. People at the Council level believe in Scouting and it's methods and want you to succeed, as if you succeed so do they. Your District Executive can help you immensely.

We have about the best DE you could imagine, he is a kind and helpful soul who would do anything for anyone. I have never seen him angry or cynical. He is a model Scout who is also an Eagle Scout.

Banny Allison our DE has helped our Units considerably and helped us set up the Troop and is working with us on setting up the Crew. We are so thankful to have such a great man who cares so much about Scouting.

Use your Council, go to Council training, Pow-Wows and Show and do's. Attend your Council University of Scouting if they have one. The resources these people have are incredible. Use them.
