"Q-Doc" naming convection/ Number Requistion: Currently a "Q-Doc" Number Assignment Program is under development. You will soon be able to automatically request a number within any of the catagories below. For the meantime please click on the catagory and send an e-mail to the "Manual 'Q-Doc' Numbering server". A "Q-Doc" number will be forwared to you withing 24 hours. Put the document number range in the Subject box, i.e. for an Administrative document put 00000 in the subject box. This will ease the task of sorting later when we upload the used up numbers to the "Q-Doc" Number Assignment Program. You can also request a range of numbers for efficiency purposes and to use at a future date. Once you have requested a number it will be posted to the server with the word "in creation" listed after it. Please no Scout names in any "Q-Doc". Use their assigned number when refering to Scouts. For "Q-Terminology" and further definitions press here. TO REQUEST A "Q-Number" PRESS ON A LINK BELOW
QX###-22000 to QX###-99000 is reserved for future document series and are available for claiming should anyone come up with a new category. When creating a "Q-Doc"
for the Pack, Crew, District or Council please use the following
naming convention: When creating a "Q-Doc" for a Girl Scout Unit: QG2370-00000 = Girl Scout Document created by a Troop 2370 person. When a document has become outdated: QA344-13010 = An archived and outdated Unit 344 document. At this
point the unit type is no longer tracable. Put the document number in the subject box for filing on the "Q-Doc Server". Your document will be securing stored for eternity and backed up daily. A list of available documents is located in the "Q-Doc Server" you can request to use an old document for modifications. If you have trouble classifying your "Q-Doc" into a category please submit to qdoccatagorycommittee@starrarch.com The Committee meets twice a year on classification issues but can form an ad-hoc group in emergency situations only. When referring to "Q" documents within the Troop we can shorten the name to something like the "Q2000". When talking to other troops we should use the forms full name "QT344-02000" pronouncing the dash and zero in front of the 2000. The zero can be pronounced as the letter O or as ought or as zero but should be fully pronounced. "Q-Docs" were originally
used in Holland, isn't that vierd? See Alec's very poor and pitiful excuse for a "Q-Doc" web site: right here => Alec's really,
really, crucially poor and pitiful excuse for a "Q-doc"
website.com "Q-Docs" are lighter, less flammable, not as porous, they age better, are waterproof and take far fewer key strokes than regular Scout documents.... For you Engineers out there the reason that "Q-Docs" are stronger and more flexible is that they have a higher bending fiber yet a lower modulas of elasticity. QT344-00000 - The "Q-system"
- paving the way for 21st century Scouting.
